A Love Like This: A Caskett Tribute

Castle and Beckett, partners in crime and life. Always.

For 6 odd years, a couple held my heart in a grasp. A grasp of love, passion and grand adventure. The story was fictional, but the love was real.

Katherine Houghton Beckett 💟 Richard Edgar Alexander Rogers Castle

Kate Beckett has shown me to do the right thing no matter what. She has shown me that if you are not ready you don’t have to be with someone - even if that someone is a ruggedly handsome, millionaire who worships you. She taught never to compromise your dreams for the sake of a relationship. A man worthy enough will cheer alongside and encourage you to achieve your goals. Most importantly she showed me how to maintain your individuality and never lose oneself in a relationship.

“Everything I've ever done, every choice I've ever made, every terrible and wonderful thing that's ever happened to me, it's all led me to right here, this moment with you.” – Castle

Richard Castle has shown me how extraordinarily patient love can be. He has shown me that if in your heart you know it’s the right person, you can wait for a day, month, year or even four years to be with that person.

A Caskett Wedding

In fifteen sentences Castle and Beckett summed up a relationship and marriage in a beautifully, stunning way that made me gasp! And in 3 minutes they showed me a wedding more real than any that I’ve attended in reality.

8 seasons. 173 episodes. 42 minutes. 3 cops and 1 writer. 2 daughters and twin boys. One extraordinary love. One show and a multitude of emotions.

“Because if you don't even believe in the possibility of magic you will never ever find it.” – Castle

In my darkest days of abhorring love and relationships, Caskett held onto to my heart firmly and never let hope die. For This. For Everything, Caskett, always.
